It’s story time with Auhle! All of his stories end the same way, though.

Happy Labor Day to all our readers state-side! The summer is winding down for team Impure Blood. We have a few weeks to rest and recoup before we try to cram in a few more cons this year (check the Cons page to see if we’re coming to a convention hall near you). Hopefully that will translate into more content for those that follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Deviant Art. *Hint, hint* Just sayin’ 😉

Thanks for reading and, as always, thanks to those who help us grow by sharing and retweeting the Impure Blood links. It is truly the most sincere form of flattery.

Happy Monday.

  1. Mary says:

hmm….. what, exactly, is she up to?

  2. Bob says:

Well okay, mentioning that your plan involves genocide isn’t the best way to get someone on your side. Especially if she was a goody-two-shoes not too long ago.

Also, off topic, but I noticed: there haven’t been any thought-bubbles or narrator-boxes in this comic. Was that a conscious decision? I’m assuming so. Too bad: I kind of like those.

    • Nathan Lueth says:

It was. Nothing against those things. It’s just that they’re kind of on their way out of comics in general. Also, comics being a visual medium, the old axiom of “show don’t tell” definitely applies. Additionally, I’m very much a fan of movies and animation, so I prefer to lean on the language of film to help me with visual storytelling side of things, while Nadja continues to insist on relying on the intelligence of our readers to follow what’s going on without needing to be spoon-fed. Again, if thought and narration balloons are what you like, more power to you. Just explaining why we made that choice.
